This meal was by far our favorite in Cabo. Make sure you get a reservation as it is a small restaurant. Shrimp tacos were amazing. Bone in filet was fantastic. We ate every bite of our meal. Very reasonably priced. We had appetizer, two entrees, soft drinks, and dessert for $100.
This restaurant features a different dish on sale every day. We ordered the NY steak, BBQ ribs, jumbo shrimp Alfredo, and churros—they were all flavorful, cooked to perfection, and served in generous portions. The complimentary toast with salsa and cheese was also very tasty. However, the service from our server was lacking; he was a bit aggressive in trying to upsell us on a lobster appetizer. Then, when we paid the bill, he asked how much of a tip we wanted to add. After we told him the amount, he didn't even say thank you, which left us feeling a bit awkward.
Outstanding dinner! Good vibes, great quality, and excellent service. Not every restaurant fits into a box and that is true for El Peregrino. But we loved the tequila infused cheese with chorizo, sea bass risotto, and slow cooked pork shank with salsa, tortillas, and roasted potatoes. (Great prices too)
The food we had here is very good! They have great specials, and there drinks were great. Prices are reasonable, it is off the tourist area so you won’t be gouged…staff friendly and speak good English. Not a huge place but comfortable and indoor seating with a/c.. they have a parking lot which is a plus…would come back for sure!
Everything was outstanding started with the Caribean Peppers so good! Their house bread slices were great! I had the -Shrimp tacos best I’ve had in Cabo and my husband loved the pork shank we definitely recommend dining here but make sure you make a reservation seating is limited.
My Wife is a chef and its hard to find good places to eat but El Peregrino was very good. we had what the are are famous for the pork Shank. I had the sea bass both were wonderful. its not cheap but good places rarely are.
Been here several times over the years. Never disappoint. Had the New York steak special on wednesday big piece of steak mashed potatoe, corn on the cob with lovely sauce and a skew of vegetables. Highly recommend, great service and very attentive.
We found El Peregrino through Google Maps suggestions and were incredibly impressed. Bonus points right away for having dedicated patron parking, which is rare and highly convenient near the Cabo San Lucas marina district. Service: Outstanding. From the warm welcome at the door to the attentive drink service and Abel’s personalized check-in regarding allergies and special occasions, we felt incredibly well taken care of. The Food: * Complimentary Bread: A phenomenal starter with tomatoes, herbs, and cheese. A total palate pleaser! * Appetizers: The bay scallop soup had great flavor, though it unfortunately lacked actual scallops. However, the ceviche completely made up for it—fresh, powerful flavors and a very generous portion size perfect for sharing. * Entrées: I had the flank steak special and my wife had the shrimp platter. Both were spectacular. We talked about it for the rest of our vacation—this was easily the best meal of our entire trip. Highly recommend!
